The North Eastern Mindanao State University Bislig Campus hosted a Webinar on RA 11313 or the Safe Spaces Act and Student VAW Free Activities on December 1, 2021 which was presided over by Dr. Sheila Marie "Shake" Hockson of FEU, who was also a speaker, as well as the Pediapharma Foundation and other resources speakers. SAFE SPACES ACT or AN ACT DEFINING GENDER-BASED SEXUAL HARASSMENT IN STREETS, PUBLIC SPACES, ONLINE, WORKPLACES, AND EDUCATIONAL OR TRAINING INSTITUTIONS, PROVIDING PROTECTIVE MEASURES AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES THEREFORE It defines gender-based sexual harassment in streets, public spaces, online, workplaces, andeducational and training institutions.
